Maracaná

About - Premium stallion and €700,000 price highlight of the 2017 Westfalian licensing, Maracaná is an exciting new stallion to Bonhomme's roster for 2018. A tall, large-framed stallion, Maracaná shows outstanding, straight and free movement, with a superb, pushing hindleg and a lot of power. He is an impressive stallion with a ground-covering, supple stride in an uphill frame. 

Sire - Millennium is a renowned stallion-maker, and comes from a line of grand prix Trakehner stallions including the legendary Gribaldi, sire of World and European Champion Totilas, Grey Flannel, Painted Black and countless other exquisite stallions. Millennium's sire Easy Game excelled in his performance test, and while he competes to advanced level, his youngsters are proving themselves both in sport and competiton. Easy Game's damsire Schwadroneur also competed at grand prix, and his mother line has produced 38 licensed stallions within the first four generations. Millennium is also the sire of the superb Morricone, who also stands at Bonhomme, and was the champion of his licensing and Hauptprämie winner in 2016.

Damline - Damsire Lord Loxley was the undisputed winner of the 2004 Bundeschampionat as a five-year-old, with no other competitors coming close to him for power, suppleness and ground cover. In the same year, Lord Loxley was the silver medallist at the World Young Horse Championships in Verden. His sire Lord Sinclair sired more than 20 licensed sons, among them a champion and several premium stallions, including the KWPN auction-topper Sir Sinclair, who sold for €380,000. Maracaná is the first foal from his dam Lorime P, but the mare line has already produced the Holstein-licensed Lord Star (by Lord).
